Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in the Roswell Alpharetta area is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the staff. This direct-hire role is office-based with some schedule flexibility.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will design, develop, and engineer PLC control panels, motor control panels, and process diagrams, working with vendor equipment specs, job projects, NEC codes, and 480V distribution systems, and more.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of AutoCAD Electrical experience required.
• Experience producing design and detailed drawings for installation of electrical systems and equipment, including panels, controls, motors, wiring, VFDs, cable tray, and conduit routing.
• Experience calculating voltage drops, conduit fill, and wiring sizing.
• Experience developing scope of work, material list, task description, and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and engineer PLC control panels and motor control panels.
• Work with vendor specs, NEC codes, 480V distribution, and related project tasks.
