Job summary

Electrical Design Consultants, Inc. seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems in Augusta, GA.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create detailed construction plans and perform power distribution calculations while ensuring code compliance, safety, and efficiency. The role supports project documentation, inspections, and provides technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering.
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering concepts and practical application.
• Experience with electricity and understanding of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including calculations and implementation.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional licensure (PE) or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
