Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Houston team, onsite in the Spring Branch/Memorial area. The role involves designing electrical systems for client projects, producing AutoCAD and Revit drawings, and writing project specifications.

You will review drawings, manage RFIs, submittals, and addenda, and conduct field work to verify designs. Requirements include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and the Texas PE exam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Successful completion of the State of Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) examination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Ability to work well on a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for client projects and prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings.
• Write, edit and produce project specifications.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and addenda for electrical items.
• Perform field work and complete field reports to verify designs.
• Participate in client meetings and internal project reviews.
