Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in a hybrid role to design electrical control systems for industrial applications. You will work with mechanical engineers, software developers, and site technicians to deliver integrated automation solutions that optimize manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, experience with CAD (AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN), and knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with industrial control systems and automation.
Proficient with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development.

Responsibilities

Design electrical schematics and control panel layouts for automated machinery using CAD software.
Select electrical components including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives.
Develop BOMs and technical documentation for electrical control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
Participate in site visits for installation supervision, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Stay updated on technologies and best practices in industrial automation.
