Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with up to 7+ years of design experience, familiarity with IEEE standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience with electrical transmission/distribution and transformer design parameters.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical components for voltage regulators and transformers, focusing on traction transformers.
• Perform electrical calculations on winding, core, insulation, and heat transfer.
• Create 2D engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Lead and collaborate on R&D projects to improve products and customer solutions.
• Support manufacturing with equipment improvements and drafting revisions.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate across teams to meet customer requirements.
• Willingness to relocate to Richland, MS.
