Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of engineering consulting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and demonstrated ability to design electrical power and lighting systems for institutional and commercial buildings.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in design and management of MEP projects.
• EIT is required; PE license desired.
• Experience with electrical power and lighting in buildings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Ability to coordinate with architecture and mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction completion.
• Prepare design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project teams.
