Job summary
Woolpert, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer Designer to join the Buildings MEP team. You will design and analyze electrical systems, mentor staff, and ensure safety and sustainability across projects.
The role reports to the Electrical Engineering Team Leader and involves developing detailed drawings and providing technical direction. Minimum of 3 years related experience in building electrical design is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in electrical design for buildings.
- Experience with building power, lighting, medium-voltage distribution, and SKM analysis.
- Familiarity with LEED or sustainability credentialing.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering technical work on complex projects.
- Develop models, plans, details, and drawings for electrical systems.
- Lead electrical design for power, lighting, MV distribution, and microgrids.
- Provide technical direction and ensure quality deliverables.
- Coordinate design documents across disciplines and perform QA/QC.
