Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team at Arnold AFB, TN. You will design electrical systems for distribution, substations, and building power, coordinating with controls, test ops, and facility teams.

You will develop 2-D/3-D CAD drawings, lead design reviews, and drive safety and performance in support of national defense testing. Entry-level and experienced engineers are encouraged; U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with electrical design for distribution, switchgear, transformers, and related systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design and coordination for renovations and upgrades.
• Produce electrical drawings including layouts and wiring diagrams using CAD.
• Prepare specifications, estimates, and scope of work documents.
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate with subcontractors and disciplines.
• Design electrical interfaces and construction drawings in 2-D/3-D CAD models.
• Coordinate with supplier reps and field personnel as directed.
