Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Reviewer for data-center projects, focusing on MV/LV distribution, standby generation, and critical power systems. You will validate studies, review large submittals, and support field activities from design through turnover.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in mission-critical facilities, a PE license (preferred), and strong writing skills to document RFI responses and design decisions. Occasional travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical design or owner's-side electrical review for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• PE license preferred.
• Deep knowledge of MV/LV distribution, standby generation, UPS topologies, and one-line conventions.

Responsibilities

• Review MV/LV distribution and related equipment layouts for code compliance and coordination.
• Validate short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and load-flow studies.
• Review major electrical submittals and witness factory acceptance tests.
• Provide construction support with clear RFI responses and field coordination.
• Support commissioning tests and ensure turnover documentation is complete.
• Contribute to Hut 8 design standards and post-project lessons learned.
