Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE (Mission Critical Projects) for NYC with hybrid work. The role focuses on building power distribution design for data centers and critical facilities, requiring 6-10 years of experience and an ABET-accredited degree.

You will model and analyze UPS, generators, PDUs, and distribution, perform short-circuit and arc flash studies, coordinate with architects and clients, and support commissioning and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• 5–10+ years designing power systems for mission critical facilities or data centers.
• EIT or PE license desired; strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power systems for mission critical data centers and healthcare facilities.
• Develop SKM models of MV/LV distribution with UPS, generators, PDUs.
• Perform short-circuit studies and arc flash analyses.
• Prepare coordination studies and engineering reports.
• Review drawings and assist commissioning teams.
