Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN invites a Design Engineer to join the Data Center team to scale high-capacity power systems for AI training campuses. You will design, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure on-site with a small team, travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
3+ years of electrical design experience in data center, industrial, or utility facilities.
Experience producing issued-for-construction drawing sets in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or Revit.

Responsibilities

Produce and maintain electrical design drawings and layouts for data center projects.
Perform load calculations, voltage drop, cable ampacity, and short-time ratings.
Size MV/LV transformers, switchgear, busway, and feeders; specify impedance and ratings.
Write equipment specifications and evaluate bids for transformers and switchgear.
Support protection and power-system studies with accurate data inputs.
Maintain design documentation and ensure NFPA/IEEE compliance.
