Job summary

Rite-Hite seeks an electrical engineer to design and support electrical control systems for custom orders, existing products, and new product development.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to define requirements, perform design and validation activities, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. The role emphasizes problem-solving, documentation, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical design and control systems experience.
• Experience with relay-based components and schematics.
• Ability to analyze problems and communicate recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and validate electrical control systems for custom orders and new products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and support documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with UL 507, UL 508A, NFPA 70 and relevant standards.
• Produce engineering changes and maintain revision-controlled documentation.
