Job summary

Goshen Engineering in Mount Olive, NC seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to create and maintain electrical design documentation for industrial control panels, UL891 switchboards, power distribution products, and related control systems using AutoCAD Electrical.

Reporting to the Engineering Design Manager, the role involves collaborating with electrical engineers and production teams to refine drawings, support field service and quality, and ensure compliance with UL891, UL508A, NFPA 70, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Two or more years of related electrical design, CAD, controls, power distribution, or engineering experience.
Strong electrical CAD skills and ability to create and modify electrical schematics.
Understanding of UL508A and applicable electrical standards.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and maintain electrical control schematics and drawing packages.
Collaborate with engineers and production to refine control and power circuits.
Translate requirements into accurate design documentation and drawings.
Support multiple projects with accurate file and revision control.
Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Field Service on electrical issues.
