Job summary

Goshen Engineering seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to create and maintain electrical design documentation for industrial control panels and power distribution products. You will use AutoCAD Electrical to develop schematics, single-line diagrams, and drawing packages, supporting Engineering and Production.

Reporting to the Engineering Design Manager, the role involves collaboration with multiple teams, incorporating customer and field changes, and ensuring compliance with UL and NFPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electrical CAD skills and the ability to create and modify electrical schematics and related design documentation.
• Strong understanding of controls and power circuits and the electrical components used in industrial control and power-distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain electrical control schematics, single line diagrams, and drawing packages using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop, document, and refine control and power circuits.
• Translate customer requirements and specifications into accurate design documentation.
• Refine designs with Production for manufacturability, cost savings, and shop-floor success.
• Provide technical support to Quality and Field Service on design-related issues.
