Job summary

PEC seeks a Design Engineer to lead design on multiple projects, using BIM/CAD, hand and computer calculations, and strict adherence to PEC standards. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop engineering solutions for clients, ensuring timely design deliverables and compliant documentation.

The role requires ability to work independently, strong communication, and experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and electrical design tools. ABET degree and EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree required.
• Engineer in Training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for multiple projects and prepare design deliverables.
• Coordinate with design staff for construction docs per codes.
• Assist during construction administration with submittals, RFIs, site investigations.
• Perform design and takeoff calculations by hand and software.
• Organize project information per corporate standards and workflows.
• Communicate effectively with the design team to complete tasks.
