Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to advance BESS, microgrid, PV projects from 500 kW to 200 MW. On-site in the Detroit area or Raleigh/Morrisville with 15–25% travel to project sites; US work authorization required.

5+ years of related experience and strong NEC/IEEE knowledge preferred. You will lead RFQ through commissioning, coordinate utility interconnections, and produce stamped drawings with a licensed PE where required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems concentration preferred); MS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ, detailed design, procurement, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with utility interconnection engineers through application, study, and witness-testing milestones.
• Own AHJ/submittal package including NEC, NFPA 855, and IC/PE stamping where required.
• Track electrical scope, resolve RFIs, and manage change orders with site teams.
