Job summary

ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop engineering design data within budget and in accordance with FAA and company quality standards. The role focuses on electrical design data for aircraft seating assemblies and related components.

The position involves technical support across engineering disciplines, collaboration with manufacturing during production and installation, and participation in design review meetings to ensure customer and ZIM requirements are

Qualifications

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and coursework.
One year experience utilizing AutoCAD or comparable program.
Knowledge of electrical design principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
Ability to handle complex design tasks with guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support across engineering disciplines for programs in which ZIM is involved.
Assist with development of statements of work from customer specs and aircraft surveys.
Review drawings, reports and manuals to support design work.
Develop design data for seating assemblies and components.
