Hammond & Associates seeks an Electrical Design Engineer 2 to support building systems design in a hybrid Orlando area setting. You will contribute to power distribution and lighting system projects, work with clients and owners, and ensure designs meet NEC codes and project requirements.
The role requires at least 5 years of experience, proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering office.

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer 2 position with a minimum of 5 years experience in Building Systems Design. A candidate will only be considered for a position that has experience in this field. Experience must be verifiable and aligned with U.S. industry standards, including familiarity with applicable codes (NEC), regulations, and project delivery expectations. The ideal candidate will be expected to immediately step in to assist and provide support for all design aspects of assigned jobs. The candidate shall show a strong understanding of the electrical engineering discipline and have the ability to provide immediate support for a fast paced department. Candidate must have working knowledge of Revit (preferred), MEP Building System Design and/or AutoCAD.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to assist the team with developing, designing and planning power distribution and lighting systems in accordance with job, client and owner specifications including but not limited to:
