Job summary

Hammond & Associates, a long-standing MEP consulting firm, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer II with 3+ years in Building Systems Design. The role requires knowledge of NEC, and experience with Revit or AutoCAD to support design work in a fast-paced office.

The candidate should be able to lead scope development and produce load calculations, while coordinating with clients and other trades. The position is in-office in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, with standard hours and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Building Systems Design.
• Familiarity with NEC and relevant codes/regulations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer 2 position with a minimum of 3 years experience in Building Systems Design. A candidate will only be considered for a position that has experience in this field. Experience must be verifiable and aligned with U.S. industry standards, including familiarity with applicable codes (NEC), regulations, and project delivery expectations. The ideal candidate will be expected to immediately step in to assist and provide support for all design aspects of assigned jobs. The candidate shall show a strong understanding of the electrical engineering discipline and have the ability to provide immediate support for a fast paced department. Candidate must have working knowledge of Revit (preferred), MEP Building System Design and/or AutoCAD.
