Job summary

Orion Placement seeks an electrical MEP designer for our Wichita, KS office to design electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects and to prepare construction documents with AutoCAD MEP and Revit. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of electrical MEP/building systems design experience; PE license or EIT is a plus but not required.

On-site role with a collaborative team and growth opportunities. Salary offered: $70,000.00–$95,000.00 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of electrical MEP/building systems design experience in the construction industry.
• Experience using AutoCAD MEP and Revit.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting systems, and building electrical design.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, construction drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification is a plus, but not required.
