Duties, Responsibilities & Other
  • Design and prepare construction drawings for electrical projects in industrial, commercial, and public sectors.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, controls, power studies, renewable energy, and special systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visual, AGI32, ETAP, SKM.
  • Assist in project development under supervision.
  • Perform engineering calculations, interpret drawings, and assist with proposals.
  • Coordinate multiple disciplines and assist in project management.
  • Develop design concepts focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and support construction administration.
  • Support development of electrical standards and ensure project quality and conformance.
  • Coordinate with clients and team members, mentor staff, and maintain professional knowledge.
  • Must have good communication skills; EIT or PE certification preferred (ability to obtain PE within one year).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • 2-4 years of design experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening; background checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Complete training, support project teams, comply with policies, and meet ISO standards.
  • Achieve utilization targets, attend meetings, manage projects within budget, and conduct site visits.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and review shop drawings.
