Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Roswell-Alpharetta area staff in a direct-hire, in-office role with some schedule flexibility. You will design PLC and motor control panels, develop process diagrams, and work with vendor specs and NEC codes.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of AutoCAD Electrical experience, design/drawings for electrical installations, and strong skills in voltage drop and conduit sizing.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of AutoCAD Electrical experience required.
• Experience producing design and detailed drawings for installation of electrical systems and equipment, including panels, controls, motors, wiring, VFDs, cable tray, and conduit routing.
• Experience calculating voltage drops, conduit fill, and wiring sizing.
• Experience developing scope of work, material list, task description, and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC control panels and motor control panels.
• Create process diagrams and electrical layouts in line with NEC codes.
• Collaborate with vendors and project teams to meet specifications and timelines.
• Produce accurate and detailed drawings for installation and commissioning.

I have a client in the Roswell Alpharetta area adding an Electrical Design Engineer to their staff. This is a direct-hire opportunity and is performed in-office with some schedule flexibility.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will design, develop, and engineer PLC control panels, motor control panels, and process diagrams, working with vendor equipment specs, job projects, NEC codes, 480V distribution systems, and more.
