Director of Recruiting at Executive Alliance
Our client is looking for an outgoing individual who will be able to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications and develop system requirements with team members
- Capture schematics and select components to meet design specifications
- Design development and verification support test tools
- Prepare verification test procedures to demonstrate performance across power and temperature environments
- Prototype hardware testing, debugging, documentation, and creating design drawings
- Coordinate with team members from other disciplines (mechanical, thermal, systems, AEH/SW) for interface management and system requirements
- Review electrical and environmental requirements to ensure compliance with specifications
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards such as RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-704, MIL STD-461, MIL-STD-464
- Develop in-process and final acceptance test procedures for production hardware
- Design electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and defense sectors
- Prepare schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and assembly drawings for active programs and legacy production
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system form, fit, function, and safety
- Lead engineering efforts in fabricating test control equipment and support tools
- Oversee manufacturing procedures, installation, and operational testing to meet specifications
- Manage repair activities for production and field returns
- Coordinate with quality assurance and support production procedures
- Address obsolescence issues with purchasing and manufacturing teams; verify new sources
- Prepare and manage engineering change notices (ECN)
- Supervise operation, maintenance, and repair of field-installed systems
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering software for design and analysis
Qualifications
- Successfully perform all essential duties; reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree with at least 2 years of related experience
