Job summary

SJE Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking a Design Engineer to support the Altronex brand. You will design large engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical, review specifications, and create bills of materials and documentation for manufacturing of control panels for water and wastewater applications.

Responsibilities

• Design large engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Review and interpret specifications to build products for water and wastewater applications; create BOMs and documentation for manufacturing of control panels.
• Collaborate with Operations Coordinators, Sales and external customers to ensure information is complete.

The job:

As our Design Engineer, your primary role will be to design large engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical, review/interpret specifications to build products used for water and wastewater applications and create bills of materials and documentation for the manufacturing of control panels. You will also work in close cooperation with Operation Coordinators, Sales, and external customers to ensure understanding and to obtain required information.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:

• UL508/698A standards and application

A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience or a 2-year degree with 3-5 years of experience are required.
