Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Drafter to develop and manage 3D models of electrical systems for commercial projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

You will coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural trades to ensure proper integration and deliver detailed installation drawings. You will attend on-site and virtual coordination meetings, perform load calculations, verify code compliance, and conduct site visits to gather data for drafting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to interpret and translate construction drawings.
• Proven ability to design and draft basic electrical systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed 3D models of electrical systems for commercial projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper integration using Navisworks for 3D coordination and clash detection.
• Attend on-site and virtual coordination meetings with General Contractor and other trades.
• Create detailed installation drawings for all electrical system components including equipment, conduit, and supports.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Verify that drawings and installations comply with applicable codes and specifications.
• Perform electrical load calculations, ampacity adjustments, and voltage drop analysis to ensure reliability and compliance with codes.
• Conduct project site visits to gather necessary data for accurate drafting and documentation.
• Regular, predictable, and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of the job.
