Job summary

LeoForce in Arlington, VA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 5-8+ years of engineering consulting experience. The role focuses on electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial projects, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. EIT is required; PE license is desirable.

Hybrid work arrangement. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, mentorship abilities, and experience coordinating across architecture and mechanical disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT required; PE license desired.
• 5-8+ years of experience designing and managing MEP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Experience designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Experience with Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, and Civic/Institutional projects.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Local Building Codes & Standards.
• Strong technical leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking Electrical Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will 5-8+ years of Engineering Consulting experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with engineering consulting firms, electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial buildings, as well as proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EIT Required, PE License Desired
