Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Irving, TX to lead electrical design for commercial projects. The role requires hands-on involvement with engineering consulting, power systems, lighting, and fire alarm, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

You will coordinate with disciplines, mentor junior staff, and serve as the Owner’s representative during construction, while balancing client needs, schedules, and code compliance in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher) is required.
• 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry.
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.).
• Coordinate all design disciplines for a code-compliant, constructable design.
• Manage client expectations throughout the design process.
• Coordinate with colleagues, external consultants, and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Act as Owner's representative during construction (RFI, submittals, site inspections).
• Mentor less-experienced designers and engineers.

Seeking Electrical Engineers to join our Team. This person will have experience with engineering consulting firms, electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for commercial buildings; with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher)
• 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus
• Revit & AutoCAD Software Proficiency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience coordinating with other disciplines on projects
• Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs, constraints, and criteria for success.
• Develop design solutions, weighing the benefits and risks of various options, and helping the client choose a path forward.
