Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (EPLAN, AutoCAD) for electrical drafting.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and 891 codes and standards.
• Experience in electrical design/drafting in construction.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and technical apps.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• English speaking, reading, writing proficient.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for power, lighting, and control systems.
• Use EPLAN to produce drawings and diagrams.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL508A, and 891.
• Coordinate with customers, designers, and contractors.
• Prepare shop drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Review designs for accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical support during construction.
• Stay current with design technology and standards.
