Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking a Manager of Electrical Engineer, Design Assurance to lead the design assurance function across airside and groundside platforms. You will own worst-case analysis, signal and power integrity, DFMEA, EV/DV verification, and build the HIL stations and test fixtures necessary for campaigns heading to volume production.

This hands-on leadership role requires defining workflows, hiring and developing engineers, and partnering with NPI and Test through industrialization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical hardware engineering with verification, validation, or qualification.
• Experience leading a team of engineers or technicians, including hiring.
• A track record of taking electronics through formal qualification to production release, including test plans and traceability.
• Hands-on with worst-case circuit analysis and component derating.
• Signal integrity and power integrity analysis with practical design feedback.
• Board and system-level reliability methods: DFMEA, HALT/HASS, accelerated life testing.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers, environmental chambers, vibration testers.
• Experience specifying and building test infrastructure and scripting (Python).
• Hands-on circuit design experience with own schematics.
• Experience with EMC/EMI testing and MIL-STD standards.
• Experience with NPI, manufacturing through ramp.
• Clear communication and rigorous documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the design assurance team, including hiring and development.
• Establish worst-case circuit analysis, derating, and DFMEA as standard practice.
• Own formal EV/DV verification for production electronics: test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Plan and execute validation campaigns: functional, thermal, vibration, EMC/EMI, and life testing.
• Design and build test infrastructure: HIL stations, fixtures, data acquisition.
• Collaborate with NPI and Test through industrialization and production ramp.
