Job summary

Helix Electric is looking for a Craft Trainer to deliver high-quality craft and safety training for electricians across the company, including classroom, on-the-job, and blended learning. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to operate in diverse conditions.

The candidate should be a licensed journeyman or master electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems, code, and safety practices, plus NCCER instructor certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Licensed journeyman or master electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems and code.
• Ability to design and deliver craft and safety training across settings.
• OSHA 30-Hour- Construction training and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience developing training content and coaching diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging craft and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Assist in the design and development of craft and safety training curriculum.
• Apply instructional best practices to maximize knowledge retention and application.
• Visit job sites nationwide to observe performance and deliver corrective training.
• Provide test preparation, coaching, and mentoring for licensing and certification.
• Manage training equipment, classrooms, and other resources.
• Track participation, outcomes, and evaluations; generate improvement reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
