Viking Electric in Eau Claire, WI is hiring for a Counter Sales Associate. You will warmly welcome contractors, help them find electrical products, and process orders to keep projects moving. The role focuses on customer interaction, product knowledge, and efficient service at the branch.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with potential overtime, an hourly rate of $22.00–$27.00, and benefits through a large energy and electrical distributor network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills for order entry.
• Willingness to learn about products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training provided).
• Assist back-of-store warehouse as needed.
