Job summary

Viking Electric in Wisconsin is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to be the welcoming face for contractors purchasing electrical products at the branch. You will take orders in person, by phone, and via email, greet customers, and help fulfill requests to keep job sites moving.

This full-time role offers daytime hours, overtime may be available, hourly pay of $22.00–$27.00, and benefits including paid time off, 401(k) match, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service skills and be able to assist contractors in-store.
• Sales experience is preferred to help fulfill orders and upsell products.
• Residential/commercial retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided)
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
