U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) in Middletown, CT is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to assist customers at the sales counter, by phone and email, and to manage quotes, orders, and returns.

You will maintain a clean counter and warehouse area, support fulfillment, and help expand the customer base. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required; must lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience is essential.
• Electrical product knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse conditions.
• Eagerness to learn and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly at the sales counter, by phone, and through email.
• Create and manage sales orders, returns (RGAs), and inventory transfers.
• Provide quotes, place and process orders, and support walk-in customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse area.
• Support order fulfillment, including stock placement, will call preparation, and general warehouse tasks.
• Proactively track and follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company procedures.
• Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
