Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician in Sioux Falls, SD to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and related controls. The role supports production during downtime and ensures safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will document actions in the CMMS (AIMS/SAP), adhere to safety standards, and continuously seek improvements in reliability and efficiency of plant electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including panels, PLCs, motors, and drives.
• Troubleshoot faults in wiring, circuits, and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Document work orders and actions in the CMMS (AIMS/SAP).
• Support production during equipment downtime and maintain plant utility systems.
