Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing and testing industrial equipment including power service, motor starters, high/low voltage electrical systems, PLC controls, HMI's, networks (ethernet/IP) and electrical field devices (photo eyes, proxes, encoders, limit switches, etc.)
- Utilize standard electrical test equipment to perform equipment tests using established procedures and record results.
- Update and clarify test procedures.
- Assist in training others to conduct tests properly.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required on production equipment and facility equipment.
- Complete assigned work orders and document all tests.
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes, recommending continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with outside contractors on miscellaneous installations.
- Three to five years of plant maintenance experience with electrical certifications desired.
- Ability to develop control logic, including prints and installation of control wiring, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters.
- Working knowledge of programmable controllers and AC/DC drives.
- Industrial control wiring experience.
- Ability to read and interpret instrument drawings and control schematics.
- Knowledge of NEC requirements.
- Must be able to work in cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Excellent on‑site attendance.
