Job summary

A clean energy technology company in Virginia is seeking an Electrical & Controls Technician to build field-ready systems for clean energy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems and controls, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Previous experience wiring and testing electrical systems.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting on electrical devices.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical panels and field devices to spec.
• Install and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, relays, and VFDs.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections across modular systems.
• Calibrate sensors and validate control loops.
• Work with engineers to diagnose problems and maintain documentation.

Skills

Hands-on experience with electrical systems and controls

Ability to read and follow schematics and technical drawings

Comfortable with tools, meters, and shop/lab environments

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Team-first attitude and willingness to own the outcome

Education

Electrical certifications or trade licenses (Journeyman, OSHA 10/30, etc.)
