Job summary

Stark State College is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to become the technical expert in our electrical and building automation systems. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining various systems including BAS, HVAC controls, and low-voltage systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and possess a solid electrical/controls foundation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-time experience in electrical maintenance or controls automation.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Required electrical certification applicable to the position.

Responsibilities

• Program, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Automated Logic BAS.
• Diagnose electrical, controls, and HVAC system problems.
• Install and maintain electrical distribution systems and control panels.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm and safety devices.
• Support campus maintenance activities as needed.
