Job summary

The City of Mesa Water Resources Department is hiring Electrical Controls Specialist I/II. Eligible candidates may receive a $3,500 incentive after the Initial City Probation period, contingent on one year of service and a successful performance review.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical/instrumentation installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting up to 15kV.
• Ability to calibrate and commission devices like VFDs, transmitters and meters.
• Coordinate materials and assist in startup, commissioning and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, calibrate and commission electrical/instrumentation devices.
• Troubleshoot process control systems and field variables; ensure proper communications.
• Assist in startup, commissioning, and repair work at facilities.
