Job summary

Benchmark, a ProMach company, seeks an Assembler in Statham, GA to assemble and wire electrical control panels and field devices. You will read electrical drawings, terminate panels, and assist in mechanical assembly under limited supervision.

We require reading drawings, safe electrical practices for high-voltage systems, and the ability to travel up to 30% for on-site work. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read Electrical Engineering drawing sets and interpret dimensions.
• Knowledge of safety practices for high-voltage systems.
• Experience with AC motors, motor starters, disconnects and PLC I/O wiring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect routine mechanical assemblies per specs.
• Mount and wire components in accordance with schematics and layouts.
• Terminate panels and field wiring; install field devices and sensors.
• Redline electrical prints and document changes for engineers.
• Assist in mechanical assembly and on-site installation as needed.
• Follow quality and assembly standards and use hand/power tools safely.
