Job summary

ProMach in Statham, GA is seeking an Assembler to build and wire electrical control panels, install field wiring, and assemble mechanical components to exact specifications. The role reports to the Manufacturing Manager at the Statham facility.

Candidates should read electrical drawings, understand safety practices for high voltage systems, and be comfortable using cordless drills, pneumatic tools, and wrenches. Travel up to 30% and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Experience with AC motors, motor starters, disconnects, and PLC I/O wiring.
• Familiarity with BOMs and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Build Electrical Control Panels – mounting and wiring per schematics and layouts.
• Terminate Panels – connect low and high-voltage wiring back to main panels/junction boxes.
• Install Field Wiring – mount sensors, switches, solenoids, motors, and terminate in panels or boxes.
• Redline Electrical Prints – correct minor errors and document changes for final drawings.
• Assist in Mechanical Assembly as needed.
• Fit, align and adjust components on machines for testing with supervision.
• Test and final adjustments of machines; assist on-site installation if required.
• Follow Quality and Assembly standards; use hand and power tools; interpret engineering prints.
