Clorox Company in Durham, NC, is seeking an Electrical & Controls Principal Engineer (OT) to lead high-complexity automation and infrastructure projects across multiple manufacturing sites. You will drive capital projects from concept to startup, develop specifications, and manage budgets and schedules while ensuring safety and standards compliance.

Competenze

• At least 8 years of experience with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in manufacturing.
• Experience leading capital and expense budgets, with planning and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, NFPA standards.
• Travel to other Clorox sites around 40% of the time.

• Lead capital projects from concept to startup, including scope, cost, design, procurement, and commissioning.
• Develop functional specs, schedules, and engineering deliverables for projects.
• Manage scope, budgets, timelines, and resources to meet business goals.
• Provide leadership in electrical design and automation platforms; support startup activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain; manage external firms and contractors.
• Champion safety and ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
