Job summary
Ardagh Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide design, modification, and on-site support for controls projects across multiple lines. You will develop schematics, BOMs, PLC and HMI programming, and assist with installation, startup, and troubleshooting on site, including up to 25% travel.

- Minimum technical degree in Electrical Engineering or 7+ years' experience in designing, programming, and implementing control systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering design, modification, and support for controls projects from concept to installation.
- Support equipment upgrades in house or on site.
- Travel up to 25% for startup/installation/support.
- Design and generate electrical schematics and BOMs.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing to resolve quality/productivity issues.
- Troubleshoot and implement solutions to production problems.
- Coordinate activities with maintenance, contractors, and operations.
- Train plant electrical staff on new technologies.
- Organize design projects with timetables, cost estimates, and resources.
