Job summary

PMI Kyoto Packaging Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our Elk Grove Village office. You will manage a broad range of duties from project management and design to manufacturing oversight, collaborating with mechanical engineers and supporting customers across the United States.

Requirements include 5+ years with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI work, AutoCAD, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering
• Experience with machine design and industrial control concepts
• Familiar with UL508A/NEC and PLC/HMI programming

Responsibilities

• Select components and layout electrical control panels
• Write, modify, and debug PLCs, HMIs, and motion control programs
• Create electrical schematics and BOMs
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering
• Travel to customer sites for installations and service
• Assist in developing standards for the department
