Job summary

BW Integrated Systems in Loveland, CO is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, program, and support electrical control systems for automated packaging equipment.

You will partner with mechanical, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver safe, reliable, high‑performing machinery while meeting customer and regulatory requirements. Travel up to 25% and opportunities to mentor others are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
0–2 years of electrical controls design and PLC/HMI development.
Strong Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.
Experience with HMI development and multi-axis motion control.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

Responsibilities

Develop and program PLC, HMI, motion control for packaging equipment.
Program high-speed sequences for throughput and quality.
Configure servo axes, sensors, vision systems, barcode scanners, printers.
Configure and troubleshoot safety systems.
Support machine build, debug, validation, FAT/SAT.
Collaborate on electrical schematics and BOMs.
Troubleshoot issues during build, installation, field support.
Mentor less experienced team members.
Travel up to 25% annually.
