Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field for duration of internship.
• Basic electrical and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Siemens NX, Codesys, C/C++, TwinCat, Copia is a plus.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and 3D conduit routing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle or equipment component layouts or schematics using CAD software such as Siemens NX.
• Select parts for performance, weight, cost, reliability, and serviceability.
• Follow projects on the assembly floor for prototype to production builds and liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to solve problems.
• Prototype, test, deploy, and verify code changes to equipment.
• Update bill of materials to reflect product changes.
• Perform testing of complete vehicles or components.
• Design, model, and test new components in power conversion, controls, or software.
