Job summary

The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 5+ years of industrial experience, and the ability to travel 5–20%. Proficiency in design, programming, and commissioning of DCS/PLC systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or diploma in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering.
  • Experience with pulp & paper industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 5–20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Audit facilities and develop preliminary designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades.
  • Design MV/LV power systems, room design, equipment specs, and grounding systems.
  • Design, program and configure DCS/PLC/HMI applications.
  • Perform protection and control system calculations and settings.
  • Develop electrical and instrumentation drawings (P&ID) and system architecture.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover of projects.
  • Prepare tender and construction packages with drawings and specs.
  • Collaborate with site operations for upgrades and troubleshooting.
