Job summary

Jobot, a growing automation-focused manufacturer, seeks an Electrical & Controls Engineer to design, program, integrate, and support control systems for highly customized machinery.

You will take equipment from concept through build, testing, and troubleshooting, collaborating with mechanical engineers, technicians, vendors, and customers to deliver reliable automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, motion control, sensors, and robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years hands‑on experience in industrial automation or custom machinery.
• PLC and HMI programming experience with Allen‑Bradley, AutomationDirect, Panasonic or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems for custom automated machinery.
• Develop panel layouts, schematics, wire run lists, BOMs, and specs.
• Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for machine control and automation.
