Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to support a complex manufacturing operation.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve facility and production equipment, collaborating with maintenance, operations and external service providers on capital projects and automation improvements. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with project engineering across electrical, controls and automation systems, offering exposure to a variety of equipment and systems in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of electrical controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Support electrical distribution systems, machine controls, PLCs, HMIs and automation equipment.
Troubleshoot issues with manufacturing equipment and control systems.
Develop, modify and maintain HMI and SCADA applications.
Lead or support electrical and controls-related capital projects from concept to implementation.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders on upgrades.
Apply preventive maintenance and continuous improvement to improve reliability.
Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs as needed.
Support plant automation initiatives including robotics and integrated systems.
Interpret and revise electrical schematics using CAD software.
