Job summary

First Search Inc. seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to provide technical leadership for the plant’s electrical power distribution, control systems, and process automation technologies.

This role improves equipment reliability, optimizes manufacturing performance, ensures electrical safety, and develops the plant’s E&I team. The successful candidate will lead design, maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and modernization efforts, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years in controls/electrical engineering in manufacturing.
Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial automation software.
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms like Wonderware and FactoryTalk.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical power and control system maintenance and reliability.
Develop and enforce engineering standards across projects.
Support capital projects from design to startup.
Optimize MES data validation and plant performance.
Provide technical coaching to E&I technicians.
