Job summary

Beta Star Life Science Equipment is seeking an Electrical Engineer to drive continuous improvement, manage product development, and lead electrical/controls activities across the life cycle of sterile processing equipment.

You will design and maintain PLC-based control systems, specify hardware, oversee documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, FAT) and validation, and coordinate field support and training while collaborating with regulatory and quality teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; able to perform all essential functions with/without accommodation.
• Experience with electrical/control system design and PLC programming is required.
• Familiarity with cGMP validation protocols and regulatory interfaces is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and product development in electrical/controls domains.
• Lead electronics/controls activities for autoclave product line.
• Provide technical leadership and field support for equipment upgrades and commissioning.
• Create and maintain lifecycle documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, FAT, manuals).
• Coordinate with Regulatory and Quality to ensure compliance (UL/CSA/CE).
• Troubleshoot complex issues; train field staff and internal teams.
